Saturday, 2nd April (10.00 - 13.00) & Saturday, 16th April (10.00 - 16.00)

This is a day and a half workshop. On the first afternoon you will learn how to make your tuffet top. Then, at a leisurely pace, you have two weeks to finish your tuffet top before returning on Saturday, 16th April for a full day learning how to finish and complete your tuffet.
The pattern is included in the price and will be sent out to you once your space has been confirmed. There is a little bit of preparation before the class (nothing too difficult we promise!) and these instructions will be sent to you along with the pattern. You can purchase the tuffet kit and sofa legs prior to the class or on the day.
This is a fun class and suitable for all skill levels although a basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine would be useful.
There will be tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival for both dates and afternoon tea also provided on Saturday, 16th April. Lunch is not included so either bring a packed lunch or you can pop out and get something in Dorking High Street.

Sewing Machines: You can bring your own or use one of our Janome sewing machines. Just arrive a few minutes before the class so we can give you brief instruction.
Time and Place: All classes commence at 10.00 a.m. and end at 3.30 p.m. (unless otherwise stated) and are held at 37a High Street, Dorking. You will be able to drop your sewing machine off at the shop before parking if you wish and if you need any further help or information please contact us on 01306 877307.
Info: Coffee will be served from 9.30 a.m. onwards until the class commences. Please note that workshops do not include lunches. However, there are lots of places that you can buy lunch or bring your own. The workshop fee does not include materials, unless otherwise stated. Classes are limited to either 8 or 10 people depending on the space required for that workshop.
Requirements Discount: You will notice on your requirements list that you are entitled to a 10% discount on all purchases required for the class. Please note our Loyalty Logo stamps cannot be issued in conjunction with your 10% discount for class purchases.
Cancellations: Payment will be taken for the workshop when you make your booking to ensure your place on the class. A refund will only be given if 14 days' notice of cancellation is received (less £2.50 administration costs for each workshop cancelled). If there is not sufficient support for any workshop and the workshop has to be cancelled, this will be done seven days before the date of the workshop. A full refund will of course be given.
Waiting List: If the workshop is full we will refund your money. Your name will be placed on a waiting list and we will contact you in the event of a cancellation.
Samples: Although we endeavour to have samples of as many classes as possible on display in the shop, we don’t have samples of every class. If planning a special trip to see a sample, please telephone the shop in advance to check.
Vouchers: If you have a workshop voucher then please call in to book as we currently are unable to accept workshop vouchers or discount online.

Postage is charged by total cost of order and will be sent 1st class Royal Mail. Please allow 2 working days to process your order. There is no postage for downloadable patterns, workshop bookings or gift vouchers.
Certain UK post codes (including Scottish Highlands, Guernsey and Jersey) and overseas orders will be subject to further P&P charges and customers will be notified by email.
If an item is out of stock you will be notified and your order will be placed on back order or a substitute given if agreed.
