Well lambing is continuing but I can't keep showing you shots of the new lambs. So we are now back to patchwork and quilting!

We have just heard from Moda that two new ranges are on their way to us and will be in our shop in the next week or two.

Firstly, if you loved Rounneries by French General as much as we did then their new range will definitely inspire you. It is Rural Jardin and it has lots of the gorgeous faded reds together with subtle blues.

This quilt here which will be featured in our new book Two From One Jelly Roll Quilts uses twenty from the range. We took out the reds and used them in the other quilt leaving this quilt looking delicate and very old fashioned. Hope you like it.

The other range coming in is Martinique by Three Sisters and again here is a quilt which will be featured in Two From One Jelly Roll Quilts.

If you are wondering how we can make the quilts and get them into a book before the fabric is even in the shops then I have to tell you that we have to thank Moda for that. They produce a small sample batch of fabrics at an early stage and they very kindly send us jelly rolls of the new ranges which we can then use in our books.

As you know, fabrics change very rapidly and it is still very difficult to ensure ranges are available when a book is launched but at least we have the most up to date fabric possible.

… and really! How could I possibly not show you another photo of the lambs.

Here are another set of twins just born. We now have ten lambs with six more ewes to produce – so I think we are in for a busy weekend. Gorgeous sunshine however and spring is definitely in the air. I will post more photos of Freddie in my next blog – I don't want to seem as though I am favouring the lambs!
