Yes just to prove I really did go!

I am always so bad at remembering to take photos that it was great having Chris with me with her camera at the ready. I thought I co-ordinated nicely with the Quilt Market sign!

Having been back a few days now it is difficult to remember all the exciting things so here are a few of Chris' photographs. It was her first Market and I did warn her how big it was. We think of the NEC as a BIG show but I should think this was in area probably four times the size. I wish I could have measured how many miles we walked over the three days.

Look at the length of these aisles and even the carpet was patchwork!

Here I am doing a book signing at Checkers which is a big American distributor and I also did one on the publishers' stand. Everyone was so nice and really loved all our books.  It would have been nice to have had Nicky with me but I got lots of oohs and ahhs when I showed them all a photo of Freddie.

Just a few more photos of booths we loved. Firstly, an Australian stand specialising in English patchwork – a bit bizarre but we loved their quilts and we will be starting a Block of the Month to make the gorgeous quilt behind us.  The other photo is Lori Smith of From My Heart to Your Hands which has just the most amazing range of patterns.
