Hexagonquiltsmaller Yes I know - I have been very bad at posting things to the blog this month but there has been so much to do. Our new book Two From One Jelly Roll Quilts came in and had to be sent out to everyone. We are really pleased with it and we hope you like it too.

Then we have a deadline for our next book Jelly Roll Sampler Quilts which needed everything finished and sent to the publishers by September. So there have been lots of quilts to get finished and LOTS of quilting to be done. Nicky and I spent last weekend quilting like made with Freddie helping!

On top of that we are working on Second Helpings of Layer Cake, Jelly Roll & Charm Quilts which is not out until next October but the publishers need some quilts for the advances by end September. So…… that is my excuse. Here is one of the quilts we made for this book which is made from just one jelly roll. It uses a 60 degree triangle and we think it looks great. We do have a kit available for it and we will be taking it to the NEC. I'm sure you recognise the gorgeous fabrics from Rural Jardin by French General.

Yes the NEC is nearly here. One other exciting thing we have doing is working with Creative Grids on a new ruler. Look out for the Multi-Size 45/90 which is being launched at the NEC. It does the work of both the Omnigrid 96 and 98 and is just perfect for our jelly roll books. There is also a Multi-Size 45/60 so do stop by at either Creative Grids or our stand (G.25) to see it.
