Tied to the Sewing Machine!
Here are some photos from the Quarterjack Quilters who held an exhibition earlier this year on jelly roll quilts made solely from patterns from our books.
Sorry I couldn't feature more but don't they look gorgeous. Well done all of you. I understand you are now starting on the Jelly Roll Classic Sampler – great stuff.
Sorry you haven't heard a lot from me recently but I fear I have been chained to the sewing machine. Only joking but it feels a bit like that.
The complete manuscript and all the quilts for Jelly Roll Sampler Quilts was delivered to the publishers last week plus the advance material they needed for the following book (yet to have a title but referred to as Second Helpings). They need all the quilts for Second Helpings by January so it is panic mode now trying to turn all those ideas and designs into reality.
Jelly Roll Sampler Quilts is really exciting and we can't wait for publication – May 2011. We hope you are going to like it. Apart from some quite different sampler quilts we also have a chapter on Pick 'n Mix quilts where we show you how to pick your favourite blocks from the book and create your own unique quilts.
I have left the sewing machine far too long – got to be getting back to it!
