We have had a great time at Houston Quilt Market and can’t believe it’s now over. We had a lovely meeting with Moda this morning – they have some fantastic ranges coming out. The new range by Cabbages and Roses, Athill is simply stunning as are the new ranges by The Three Sisters and Fig Tree Quilts and of course not to mention the new French General line – Rouenneries Deux ( I think I’ve spelt that right!). We had a good chat with Mark Dunn who is the owner of Moda and he loved the Jelly Roll Dream Challenge quilts.

Below is Susan Rogers from Moda – she really is the one to blame for our  jelly roll books as her immortal words five years ago  to us when she handed us a jelly roll were ‘just try it’.  Little did we know!

We did forget it is Halloween until we went to the Primitive Gatherings booth and saw Elvis! We also saw an astronaut coming down the escaltor which we weren’t quick enough to get a picture  but it did make us smile.
