Sunday at Quilt Market
Quilt Market is flying by – one more day left and then we fly home. We had a good day today and saw lots and lots of booths filled with great inspirational ideas for us to take home. We particularly liked the new fabric from Lecien – the new Durham range is just stunning and Sugar Flowers is one we’re definitely going to stock – so bright and fresh and we know you will love it. We also loved the new Anna Griffin fabric and if you’re one of our Premier customers then you’re in for a treat over the next few months! There is also a great new Block of the Month (pictured below) which we hope to take on.
……what else…..we saw some fab new books that are coming out soon – in particular Spotlight on Neutrals by Pat Wys. We also went to the Paper Pieces booth (who are really good fun) and came away with some great ideas so watch this space! We also saw an ingenious product that allows you to join all your ‘wasted’ bits of wadding to create a larger size for your quilt which we will be definitely stocking soon!
Pictured below is Debbie Johnson and Kim Suleman who are The Fat Quarters back in the UK. They are the authors of the ‘Canny Keepsakes’ books based on inspiration from Edwardian England. Their booth looked lovely and I must mention Betty and Florrie who you can just see in the front. I think it’s Betty on the right and we’ve been told she likes a sherry or two!
