Houses made of sticks and sheep with new haircuts!
What great fun we had when Nicky and family came down to Cornwall – with all the dogs, chickens, guinea fowl and 70 sheep – there is always a lot to do and lots to look after! Rob (Nicky’s husband) tested out his Ray Mears’ skills and built Freddie a house which he absolutely loved – as did the dogs!
Our sheep also had a much overdue haircut and what great wool we now have! We have decided to have it spun into Aran weight and we’re thinking of producing knitted cushion kits – as soon as they are ready we will let you know! Pictured below is Viletta sporting her new hair do.
Whilst we were down in Cornwall we of course worked (we can’t help it!) and we’ve now decided to stock an extensive collection of Kaffe Fassett as a ‘basic’ so this means that we will have it for the foreseeable future. We love Kaffe Fassett and many of our quilt kits use his fabrics so this is a great addition to our basic fabric ranges. They are all up online now and should all be in the shop over the next week or so.
