♥ Suitable if you have never made a patchwork quilt before
Date: Saturday, 10th and Sunday, 11th June 2017 (10-4 both days)
Tutor: Pam Lintott / Nicky Humphrey
We will be making a tuffet which you will have finished on the Sunday. We will be working with either double width tuffet strips or single width plus a larger strip so that the tuffet process speeds up and you can complete your tuffet in a weekend. On the first day we will focus on making your tuffet top and on the second day we wall show you how to put your tuffet together! Class involves machine sewing and a little hand sewing too.

Our speedy tuffet weekend course runs from 10-4 on both days and is held in our studio behind our shop. You are welcome to drop off your sewing machine at the shop before parking. Coffee will be served from 09.45 onwards until the class commences. Please bring a packed lunch or you can buy lunch from the many places in Dorking. Complimentary afternoon refreshments will also be served.
You can bring your own or use one of our FREE Janome CXL 301 sewing machines. Just arrive a few minutes before the class so we can give you brief instruction.
The workshop fee includes the pattern which will be sent to you with your pre-class preparation instructions. Classes are limited to either 8 or 10 people depending on the space required for that workshop. When you sign up to a workshop you are entitled to 10% off any products purchased relating to the workshop. The voucher is available to download from your account page once you have booked your space.
Payment will be taken for the workshop when you make your booking to ensure your place on the class. A refund will only be given if 14 days’ notice of cancellation is received (less £2.50 administration costs for each workshop cancelled). If there is not sufficient support for any workshop and the workshop has to be cancelled, this will be done seven days before the date of the workshop. A full refund will of course be given.
Although we endeavour to have samples of as many classes as possible on display in the shop, we advise you to telephone the shop to check if making a special trip to see a sample.
