Delivery
DELIVERY CHARGES
We charge postage on all goods except on gift vouchers, fabric clubs, downloadable products and workshops. Postage is worked out by price of product. If an item is too heavy or large for Royal Mail then we will use a next day courier service. Delivery times indicated are from when orders have been processed and dispatched.
Standard Shipping – Royal Mail 48 (2-3 day delivery):
Under £20 – postage is £2.90
Under £55 – postage is £3.90
Over £55 – FREE
Express (next working day):
Flat fee – £9.00
Express orders will be prioritised and sent via a next working day courier service. We do our best to send your orders out same or next working day. Please note orders sent via courier on Friday will arrive on Monday, the next working day.
Click & Collect:
No charge. Our shop remains closed during the week. However, we are able to offer our local customers our Click & Collect service Monday – Saturday. Make your purchases online and at the checkout select ‘collect from shop’ from the delivery options. We will contact you to let you know when your order is ready for collection. Please note that we will do our best to have your order ready as soon as possible, but this is not a priority service.
When you come to collect, please ring the doorbell and we will come and open up for you. At all times we ask you to respect the 2m distance and if you feel unwell or have any symptoms, please do not visit and we will be more than happy to post your order.
OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS
Due to the current uncertainty with Brexit and ever increasing postage costs for overseas, please email us at sales@quiltroom.co.uk if you wish to order. We will then email you a postage quote. We apologise for this and hopefully when things settle down, we’ll be able to offer overseas ordering once more on our website. Thank you for your understanding.
FREE UK RETURNS
Please contact us if you wish to return an item and we will email you a prepaid postage label. You have 14 days in which you may return the item for a refund (less postage) as long as it is returned in the original packaging. After 14 days, you will receive a credit note. Unravelled jelly rolls can not be returned unless faulty. Refunds will be issued once we receive the item back.
Unlikely though it is, if the item is faulty then we will endeavour to replace the item or issue a refund.
MISSING ORDERS
It is rare but sometimes parcels get lost in the mailing system. If you think your parcel may be lost then please contact us after ten working days from when the order has been dispatched. This is the time frame Royal Mail uses before it recognises a lost parcel. You will receive an email from us when your order is dispatched. Don’t forget to check with neighbours and around your house (back garden etc) and also your local sorting office before contacting us.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If an item is out of stock we will contact you to advise you on when it is due in or offer you a substitute. If we are unable to fulfil your order you will be refunded.
PAYMENT SAFETY
All card details are taken through either Paypal or Stripe – both of which have stringent security measures in place and both are fully PCI compliant. Credit card details are encrypted to us when we receive your order. We are also PCI compliant which means that no sensitive card data is held on our computers.
