Jelly rolls can be used in numerous ways – have a look at our precut patterns and books for inspiration. They are accurately cut and a fantastic way of having small amounts of fabric from an entire collection or colour way. A jelly roll contains approximately 2½m fabric in total.
Introduced to France in the 17th Century, from Turkey and other areas of the Ottoman Empire, Chafarcani prints were typically small red and white designs printed on linen and often used as lining for clothing.
